Have you ever made eye contact with a person, and without either of you saying a word they know exactly what you’re thinking? It's a moment that can feel almost magical, a connection that transcends words. Well, that was exactly what happened when I first met @tovahrobinson on set. It was back in 2021, during the suggested mask-wearing season, and we were both working on a production job. Little did I know at the time, that encounter would leave a lasting impression on me.
After that job, life went on as usual and I wasn't sure if our paths would ever cross again. But there was something about Tovah's energy that stuck with me. Fast forward to this year, and fate intervened once again, bringing us back together. This time, there were no masks between us, and I was grateful for the opportunity to reconnect and see her smile once more.
Tovah Robinson, founder of @onpair, is a force to be reckoned with. Her presence in the bustling city of Brooklyn, NY is undeniable, and her passion for her work shines through. I was honored to have the chance to photograph her, to capture the essence of her captivating smile. It's a smile that lights up a room, that brings joy and warmth to anyone who is fortunate enough to witness it.
As I reflect on our journey from that initial encounter to now, I can't help but appreciate the power of human connection. Sometimes, words are unnecessary when you share a moment of understanding and connection with someone. It's a reminder of the beauty and depth that lies within our shared experiences, and the impact one person can have on another. Tovah Robinson is a prime example of this, and I am grateful to have crossed paths with her along this incredible journey we call life.
Brooklyn, NY in June 2023 will forever hold a special place in my heart, thanks to Tovah and the memories we created together.
