Body Tattoo Filter (NSFW)

It was a little after 1am and I didn’t want to go to sleep without getting this idea out of my head, I was also still going off the dopamine I had experienced all day.

I’ve been playing around with this filter for a week and I wanted to see what the full tattoo design really looked like.

I remembered a series Mario Testino created of men tattooed using the Japanese traditional technique Irezumi. I’ve always been fascinated by all things traditional or cultural and the practice of traveling to other worlds to receive a tattoo based on your aura excites me.

My roots are deep in painting portraits, but lately augmented reality and a.i. have become another form of paint for me. This filter gave me the courage to do something I have considered for a while and let me tap into what my vessel might look like.

These photos are for my 90 year old self. I wonder what she will say when she sees all we have created. I wonder if her body will be adorned with traditional markings.

It’s now 4am, I’m just now coming down.
