OG of the East
When I started the hashtag #tabbythabts I was just documenting my point of view on set, one set at a time. I told myself I would be on a different set every week. We did that. (What’s next?…) At times I don’t think of my self as a photographer, I think of my self as an observer of humans and souls.
My best photographs happen to be moments of my family and friends, probably because there’s no posing, just authentic moments where we’re both able to be ourselves, which is what we do best. I’m looking forward to taking more photos on this wall.
Do what you do best. Do it at least 100 times or just do it every moment you get the chance. I could photograph 100 of my friends on this wall and be content with my life because the moments preceding these photos are valuable.
This man is a subtle yet powerful reminder of resilience and excellence. His presence says who he is soon as he walks into a room, and when he speaks his wisdom is appreciated. Everything we do happens in divine timing, even in this moment. Thank you for another necessary cigar and coffee break OG. I appreciate you.
